Sweetwater Beanie

Sweetwater Beanie is a basic hat with repetitive, simple cables.

Sweetwater Beanie is knit with medium (worsted) weight yarn. At first glance, it may not seem like a typical cabled hat. However, it uses a super simple and repetitive 1-over-1 cable that spirals across the main body of the hat. It’s easy to memorize and is a quick, meditative knit that works well with solid, speckled or variegated yarn. This project is knit in the round and is a good introduction to cable knitting.

More details, including suggested yarn and no-cable-needle-needed tips, are on the blog post here.
